Welcome to XAARA

     Xaara is a busy arts community featuring the Xaara Gallery of Sensual Art, the Sanctuary of Performing Arts Theater, the Xaara Academy of Ballet and Dance, and the Xaara Community Library.  Guests are invited to explore all of these venues and much more.  The Sanctuary of Performing Arts Theatre is home to the X-A Dancers dance troupe offering two shows a month.  There are several other galleries in the Plaza. Plus many Second Life (SL) merchants have stores here and we invite you to shop to your heart’s content.

     Xaara is also home to a thriving D/s (Dominance/submission) and BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism, Masochism) community.  If that is your interest, talking to any of the members who wear relevant group titles can assist you with more information.

Xaara Community is a consent based D/s community. We are committed to that. However, we can not police the actions of everyone. The best protections for a submissive is their safeword and their viewer’s Exit option. No matter who tells  you that you can not or should not use your safeword, in Xarra submissives are expected to use their safeword whenever the following occurs:
  1. your limits are violated
  2. you are touched sexually or intimately  without giving prior consent
  3. you have decided to withdraw your consent

Xaara Community is a consent based D/s community. Dominants must always gain consent before expecting submissive service in Xaara. Safewords are a sacred trust in all the D/s communities and Xaara is no different. Ignoring a safeword is considered a serious act that will result in a review and possible banning.
